depending on what suits your party. Please

By Car
As a family with lots of luggage we
find this the easiest option. Montalbert is around 600 miles from
Calais and the journey will take 10
hours in good weather as the roads are
all Auto route or dual carriageway.
We can recommend a
route and possible stopovers if required. Full
details will be sent on booking.
Make sure that you take snow chains which you
can hire or buy in the UK and arrange breakdown cover for
travelling in Europe.
Channel
crossings
We prefer Eurotunnel for speed but the
ferries may be cheaper and can provide a meal
break. Book as early as
possible to secure the best price.
By Air
There are three airports
within easy reach of Plagne Montalbert-
Geneva, Lyon (both 2 hours drive away)
and Chambery (1 hour). All can reached
by budget airlines.
Car
Hire
Make sure that you order snow chains and
if you are taking your skis, ask for a
roof rack when you book.
By Rail
There is a train service to Aime direct from
London Waterloo or Ashford, Kent. You can then
get a taxi for the short 20 minute journey to
Montalbert.
